Column sizing

Choose a width mode

Each column offers Auto, Flex and Fixed width modes.

Auto starts from a field-specific width hint, or 140 pixels for other fields.

Flex starts at the column minimum and receives spare space in proportion to its flex weight.

Fixed uses the entered width within the column minimum and maximum.

A fixed column with no explicit minimum does not shrink below its authored width.

Set bounds and save

Use Minimum width and Maximum width to set optional pixel bounds.

Width bounds run from 40 to 2000 pixels.

Width in pixels is available when Width mode is Fixed.

Width entries are applied on Enter or when you leave the input.

A refused entry shows a reason and restores the stored value.

Save also checks pending width entries and stops if an entry is refused.

When the table is wider than the gadget

If the minimum widths exceed the available space, the table keeps its base widths and scrolls sideways.

Reset width to automatic and Reset all widths to automatic clear sizing while keeping columns, order, content modes and density.

Width resets take effect in the saved layout after Save.
